Guo Jingjing (CHN) - 2nd place
On the reason for her poor last dive (107B, DD 3.1, scoring 68.20):
"If I knew why, I could have done better."
On her preparation for the finals:
"I will go back to the hotel to have a good sleep this afternoon, and be back here to compete this evening."
Olena Fedorova (UKR) - 7th place
On her performance:
"It was fine, I dived at my average level."
On her lower than average DD:
"Those dives may not have been all that difficult, but I worked very hard on them."
On her third dive (205C, DD 2.8, scoring 65.80):
"I think it was good, it is sort of my strong point."
On her expectations for the finals:
"I think it will be impossible to make the top 6 tonight."
Nora Barta (HUN) - 10th place
On her DD:
"I'm practising some new dives, but I cannot yet pull off very difficult dives due to just having surgery on my left shoulder."
On why she chose diving:
"I like to play many kinds of sports, especially soccer since my father was a soccer player. When I was eight or nine I chose to be a diver, I think it's the most suitable sport for me."
On people cheering for her:
"They are Dutch. I trained in the Netherlands for a long time, so they are my second team."
