Jennifer Abel (CAN) - 11th place
On her strong performance:
"I am proud of myself. This is my first World Cup and I felt slightly nervous as I want to qualify for the Olympics."
On Chinese divers:
"It was my first time seeing Guo Jingjing and Wu Minxia in action. I was very impressed. I will train harder because I want to be like them."
On her impressions about China:
"I saw many different things such as the fireworks. I heard them go off during the lantern Festival, It was exciting."
On her poor fourth dive (305B, DD 3.0, scoring 46.50):
"My toes were off the board on take-off and I was propelled from the board."
Kelci Bryant (USA) - 12th place
On her performance in the semifinals:
"It was alright. I have been training for the 3m springboard synchro and wasn't fully prepared for the individual 3m springboard."
On her pink nails:
"I like pink. I always paint my nails but I don't choose any particular colour for competitions."
On spectators:
"Back at home in the United States, we don't have many crowds like here, but I try to forget about them when I compete."
On the venue:
"The pool is just great, it Is very easy to dive here as well."
