
BEIJING, 21 Feb - Comments from Wang Xin (CHN) and Chen Ruolin (CHN) after the women's synchronised 10m platform finals at the National Aquatics Center.
Wang Xin (CHN) - Gold Medalist
On her performance:
"I will score myself 8 out of 10 for today's performance. In the last dive (5253B), I had problem with my splash."
On the pressure of competing at home during the Olympic Games:
"Actually, there is a little pressure. What we need to do before the competition is adjust our mental state to better cope with that pressure."
On her performance:
"It was only OK. I didn't perform well in the first dives."
"My biggest regret was the final dive. I didn't do well on take-off and didn't get enough height."
On the training:
"We divided the training time equally for the individual and synchronised events."
On what she wants to do after wining the competition:
"I want to make a call to my parents, but my cellphone is out of credit at the moment. What I want to do most of all is to wish them a happy Lantern Festival."
On what she will do tomorrow:
"We will go back to the training centre to train during the day, and be back here to watch the competition tomorrow night."
Chen Ruolin (CHN) - Gold Medalist
On her performance:
"I'm happy with my performance today, and I wlill say I did a 9 out of 10. I perfomed as well as yesterday (in Women' 10m Platform)."
On the DD:
"The Canadians (Heymans and Marleau) had more difficult dives which gave them the opportunity to boat us. At the moment, I don't know if we will increase our DD in the future, it's for our coach to decide."
On being the first double champion in this World Cup:
"I focus more on the process than on the results. I'm confidant to be a double champion in the Olympics."
