Wang Xin (CHN)

On her partner:
"She was a little slow today."

"We live together and train together, so any differences between us are small (which helps them cooperate well in the synchronized diving)."

Chen Ruolin (CHN)

On their characters:
"Our characters are almost the same. But my character is variable. Sometimes I am shy, but when I am with my friends, I can be outgoing."

On Wang Xin:
"Her movements are a little faster than mine."

On her rival:
"My biggest rival is myself. If I do well tonight, I will win."

On her injuries:
"I don't have any injuries at the moment, I only feel a little tired."

"We did not synchronize well on the third dive - 5253B, which was the most difficult dive in the preliminaries. There was a small time delay between us. Our time spent training together has been short but that was our best dive during training."
