BEIJING, 20 Feb - Comments from Emilie Heymans (CAN), Tatiana Ortiz (MEX) and Mai Nakagawa (JPN) after the Women's 10m PlatForm Finals at the National Aquatics Center.

Emilie Heymans (CAN) - 4th place

On placing 4th:

"I'm a little disappointed, but really happy at the same time. I need to work on my consistency and reduce my splash."

On what to improve:

"I need to work on my entry. I think it's the only thing which I am lacking."

On the Chinese divers:

"They've always been dynamic performers. Their entry is particularly good."

On their expectations for the Olympic Games:

"I will keep working hard, be consistent, and do my very best."

Tatiana Ortiz (MEX) - 6th place

On Paola Espinosa getting a medal:

"She is a talented diver. As her good friend, I feel happy that she got the bronze."

On Chinese divers:

"They are both outstanding divers and they deserve the win."

On her further plan:

"I should pratice more and adjust myself for the following event (she ad Paola Espinosa) will compete in Women's 10m Synchronized Platform."

Mai Nakagawa (JPN)

On her performance in the Finals:

"I didn't have unnecessary pressure on me and was able to relax. I guess I dived exactly as during practice. My last dive (Back two and a half Somersault with one and a half Twists in Pike postion, DD 3.4) wasn't my best. I scored good points on it though. My performance in the Finals was better than the Semifinals so overall, I am happy. I was a bit astonished at the size of the crowd, but I was OK with them from the second round. I was so disappointed with my performance at Melbourne 2007 and have been working for over a year towards the next international competition. I was glad to be able to show how much I have improved in that time."

On her expectations for the Olympic Games:

"I would like to dive once more at this venue. I will change one of my dives, I am now practising 207C (Back three and a half Somersault in Tuck position DD 3.3).I couldn't include this in my list for this World Cup, but I will choose it should I come to the Olympic Games. With my current low DD, I cannot beat others even if I can perform well."
